MANILA, Philippines - More Filipinos can now enjoy a faster, hassle-free land travel as PinoyTravel, the country’s premier online and mobile bus ticketing service, expands its reach through partnerships with two of the largest bus companies in the country.
PinoyTravel recently signed a partnership with Philtranco, servicing Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, and Jam Liner, the choice bus transport in the Manila-Southern Luzon route.
Passengers can now book their bus trips online or via mobile for the following provinces without having to go physically to the bus terminals: Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Iloilo, Samar, Leyte, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Misamis Oriental, Compostela Valley, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Pampanga, Laguna, Batangas, Laguna, and Quezon (Lucena).
Launched last year, PinoyTravel aims to provide both local and foreign tourists the ease of checking bus schedules and booking provincial bus tickets online and via mobile.
PinoyTravel is also part of the Street Smart package of Smart Communications Inc. that offers six of the most widely used transportation, navigation, and road information apps in one affordable data bundle for as low as P10 per day.
To subscribe to the Street Smart bundle, Smart prepaid subscribers only need to text the following keywords to 211 — STREET 10 (P10 for 1 day), STREET 50 (P50 for 7 days), STREET 99 (P99 for 15 days) or STREET 199 (P199 for 30 days).
Street Smart packages will soon be available for Smart postpaid subscribers. Moreover, other transport and navigation apps will be added in the future.
